WOW. It has been 4 months since I last posted. Yes, it's due to my laziness and partly because of the numerous homeworks drowning me. Anyway, I'm back here (for only a short while) before I go MISSING AGAIN!
Went to ADAM LAMBERT'S AUTOGRAPH SESSION on sat(13/3/2010) at Bugis Junction, Bugis Square. Being a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of Adam Lambert, I started queueing in the hot sun at 8.10 am. Kar Yui and Olivia came at about 8.30 am and I went to join them at the back instead, although there were about 9 people between me and Kar Yui at first. At around 9.30 am...Kar Yui and Olivia decided to go and buy some food/drinks from Bugis and they bought me a bread and it managed to fill my stomach till 5 pm. Wow. Never underestimate the power of a bread...
10.50am (the weather was freaking hot!): Stood up from our place with Kar Yui and akwardly started taking pictures of the sky, the queue...
11am: Kar Yui and I bought a 'Singapore Loves Adam' badge from Pauline, owner of singaporeglamberts.com at $2.50 each and also helped Marilyn and her friend buy 1 each.
11.10am: Went into Bugis Junction with Kar Yui after passing the 2 badges to Marilyn. Passed by Gramaphone at the basement and heard Adam Lambert's Strut playing on the speakers of Gramaphone. It was so sudden and awesome I practically screamed when I heard it. Then, we made our way to Cold Storage to grap a copy of The New Paper because Adam Lambert was featured in it! Passed by Gramaphone again and heard Sleepwalker (also by Adam Lambert). Went into the shop to find Adam's album although we already bought it and found out that THERE WERE STILL ALBUMS WITH THE LUCKY DRAW TICKETS ON IT! OH MY GOD! If I asked Hui Zee to buy an album from there on Wednesday, I might have been one of the 500 winners to watch Adam Lambert's showcase at Pantages Hollywood Theatre in Universal Studios at Resort World Sentosa! Read The New Paper after we went back to our queue...
12.00 pm: Started doodling words on my palm.
12.20 pm: Renee came and joined us! =D She was so scared that she would step onto some people while making her way to join us in the queue.
12.40 pm: Went into Bugis Juunction with Kar Yui (again!) and went to Watsons cos' Kar Yui wanted to buy a bottle of black nail polish. Went back to queue at around 1 pm and painted my nails.
1.10 pm: Kar Yui was painting her nails and it STARTED DRIZZLING! We were praying that it would not be a heavy rain. Fortunately, it was just a drizzle. PHEW! Renee and I were slightly wet when Benesya's friend, Esther lent us an umbrella! Thanks alot Esther! Throughout the drrizzle, Renee, Olivia and Kar Yui were painting their nails.
1.55 pm: Took a group picture of all our nails and then Kar Yui and Olivia went off to the toilet, get nail polish remover samples.
2.25 pm: The queue started moving slowly to the front of the tentage! I called Kar Yui and Olivia to speed up. Luckily they were in time to join the queue to move foreward. WE WERE FREAKING EXCITED! There were people checking our albums to make sure it was the deluxe edition. Sadly, Renee, Olivia and Esther had to leave us as they did not have one with them =( And that leaves us with Benesya, Kar Yui and I.
2.39 pm: We are already in front of the tentage, still very excited although we still had to wait for another 1.5 hour or so. Shopathon 2010 was occupying the tentage (since morning) with 2 98.7 FM Deejays as the hosts.
2.42 pm: Me, Kar Yui and Benesya were getting our group picture taken when razor tv came close and film us. We couldn't say anything and just waited for our picture to be taken.
2.48 pm: Appearance of Michelle Chia on Shopathon 2010. DJ: Faster give out the awards, Michelle is a very busy woman. She still has a date with Adam Lambert Glamberts: *SCREAM*
4.20 pm: OH MY GOD! ADAM!!!
Although it was raining, Adam's signature was smudged a little and i got a suntan, but it was still worth it. Totally worth it =D (I'll upload the pics another time. Something wrong with blogger uploader )
